When life hands you lemons...

When life hands you lemons...make a card!

I think this was the project that wasn't meant to be! BUT...I fought the law of gravity and science and trekked on!

Everything that could go wrong with this did!

Printer issues so I couldn't print out one of the new Digi Stamp Sets Lindsay has available so I used something I had on hand. I really DO LOVE this set that I ended up using and I have used it quite a bit in the past! Then my trimmer decided to be grumpy and not cut right...hence the rough edges. So I decided to make matters worse and use an edge punch which also didn't work as planned. So I figured WHY STOP THERE - so I added some ink to it! LOL. YUP! That's right by the end of the project I realized I took all of my frustrations out on my card! BUT...there IS a light at the end of the tunnel! This cute little bird - the center of attention - makes me smile because he's so sweet - no matter what happened PRIOR to completion! It's not one of my better attempts but it makes for a good crafting story, I suppose! :)

Necessity is the mother of invention. When nothing worked out, you worked out something better! The card is beautiful even though it fought you to be made. ~Diane

I would never have thought this card was a "horror" story if you hadn't mentioned all your problems because it looks perfectly delightful.
