Art Journaling: Model Citizen & LSS DT Project

This week I once again worked with Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Posh & Trendy Set over at MyGrafico! I have a feeling this set will NEVER get old! Lots of neat things to do with it that is for sure!

I decided to use a Digi Stamp in one of my Art Journaling Pages. This is more of a word association thing this time around. I was looking at this image and thinking "model" but I'm not much of a girlie girl so I was trying to think of another way to use the word and image of model and came up with this twist.

I'm also excited because this is the very first Art Journaling Page I used with my NEW Gesso! It's the first time I have even used Gesso! I also bought some Acyclic Paints and used one of the browns on this page around the edges. For the paint on the image itself I used 3 different colors and would like to point out that painting really isn't my forte but I am fairly pleased with the job I did here and yes I used an actual paint brush! I didn't cheat!

Check out my sidebar for the other LSS DT Blogs and their projects this week!

I'm entering this project in the following challenges this week:

This is gorgeous! Love the way you colored the edges and the dress form is perfectly shaded.

I've never used Gesso either, but this turned out great! Love that dress form and the whole distressed quality of the page :)

Wonderful page! jI love gesso ... I have black and clear also ... definitely try those out! Oh, and mix gesso and water in a spray bottle ... awesome way to distress a page!

Love it. Love how you used the words and like I've already told you, you've really inspired me to start a journal like that.
