LSS DT - Bird Tag

You've seen me use this digi stamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff before and you know I LOVE it! Today I did a simple tag. I cropped the part of the stamp I wanted to use to fit the tag. I played around with my Tim Holtz Ranger Inks a little bit...and used alcohol ink for fading and blending. I'm just really starting out with these inks so here's a little something for starters, I guess.

In the next few weeks (maybe months) I hope to be thinking outside the box a little more and using LSS's printable templates and creating projects with her cutables for multiple Design Teams I am currently on so stay tuned!

Nature Journal - LSS DT

Lindsay totally rocks the SVGs and printables over at MyG! I LOVE this Cherry Blossom one located HERE! Since I don't really do much with SVGs I thought I would print this one out and use it in my Art Journaling...

I started this page a while back but when I cut out the pieces from this set and glued it on the page I knew it FIT in more ways than one!

I hope to be using a lot more of Lindsay's Printables in the near future!

LSS DT - Bird Time

Time for a bird...yes...I know I have already used this digi stamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff but I cannot help it...it's one of the many digi stamps I love than Lindsay has created! Each time the coloring has been extremely different tho! I have been using my scrap pile more lately and this card was made from scraps only - no new/unused supplies! What is "Steampunk"?

What exactly IS Steampunk? I think Wiki says it best. I'm certainly NOT known for my steam punk projects that is for sure! I have done very few if any. So this week I challenged myself to try one! Here is a card I made with THIS SET from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff over at MyGrafico.

Leave it to me to add a sentiment like that for this card, eh!?

I even asked Hubby if he "got it"...I'm hoping someone out there does! LOL

LSS DT - Vegetarian Journaling Page - Organic Set

Playing catch up from Blogger's BIG BANG! Grrrrrr!

Anyhow...here is my project for this week for the LSS DT! I was so excited when Lindsay released THIS SET - I KNOW I will get a LOT of use out of it!!! I decided to do a funky vegetarian journaling page using the image. I left the 2nd page a little open...might use it for recipe space down the road or maybe quotes.

Lindsay's Stamp Stuff is the MyG Designer of the week for the MYG DT and I am also on Lindsay's Team...so...below is my project for this week!I'm not into sewing so I wasn't sure if I would use this set much...BUT...check it out! "You're a real cut-up!" LOL - that cracked me up and HAD to use it!

I also used some adhesive ribbon and 'freestyled or freehanded' it's placement!

This week for my Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Design Team Project I decided to revisit this Peacock Digi Stamp which I have always LOVED. After taking the picture it looks like "20" with the bling and the peacock cut-out/frame! Seriously, I didn't plan that! LOL Regardless I had FUN with this card!

Art Journaling: Model Citizen & LSS DT Project

This week I once again worked with Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Posh & Trendy Set over at MyGrafico! I have a feeling this set will NEVER get old! Lots of neat things to do with it that is for sure!

I decided to use a Digi Stamp in one of my Art Journaling Pages. This is more of a word association thing this time around. I was looking at this image and thinking "model" but I'm not much of a girlie girl so I was trying to think of another way to use the word and image of model and came up with this twist.

I'm also excited because this is the very first Art Journaling Page I used with my NEW Gesso! It's the first time I have even used Gesso! I also bought some Acyclic Paints and used one of the browns on this page around the edges. For the paint on the image itself I used 3 different colors and would like to point out that painting really isn't my forte but I am fairly pleased with the job I did here and yes I used an actual paint brush! I didn't cheat!

Winter Weather Clothes

I hate winter! I hate being cold! So...I thought of this WARM Winter Wear Digi Stamp Set from LSS this week for my project. I was trying to think of a sentiment for it and this is the first thing that popped in my head. I don't usually use patterned paper as the base or the coloring for Digital Stamps but I have so many papers in my stash right now that I don't know what to use them for so I will be using this set often for that. This specific paper I used I really like...I love that shade of blue...but I thought winter sweater and thought it was fitting eventho I can think of tons of other things I would use this paper for, too. Project & Retirement Sale

This week for the LSS DT we created projects using items from the sets that are being retired! I decided to go a little outside my comfort zone and use the OLD PAPERS Set to create this one. I haven't used this set at all yet. I ended up using one of the rectangle boarders for a layer here. I had another card made using the circle one but after taking the pictures I decided I really like the way this one turned out so I didn't want to use the other one. Against this one the other one looked messy (on my part). This just seems clean and simple and it was quick but more importantly it was fun and I LOVE these colors together AND I used a set I never used before! YAY!

Holiday Tags

This week the LSS DT made Gift Tags. I had several planned but my pictures were crappy and all the start were NOT in alignment and I didn't get to do what I wanted to do! Eeeeek! So...I went with REALLY plain, simple, easy, and quick! The one above I used one of the Winter Wonderland Clipart pieces from THIS SET. It's the first time I have used these and I think they are cute! I used some of her Digi Papers on a few others but those didn't turn out at all! I have to fiddle around with my camera settings...I don't know what happened. I also have to set up a little section in my craft room for better display and picture taking. AND...I have to install my SCAL - I have been procrastinating on that horribly! Soooo much to do - so little time! LOL

Here is another one I used from that set for hubby.

Loose Leaf Tea Gift Box

Many of you know I LOVE tea! So much so that I drink between 8 and 15 cups a day! YES...you read that right! Between 8 and 15! I also write about tea - I write reviews! Check out the SororiTEA Sisters Website - sometimes we give stuff away too - so visit often! So...because I have so much tea in my posession I decided to give some away to family and friends this holiday season, too! Over the past summer I found a huge bulk of funky gift boxes that I bought for super cheap! I decided to decorate a few of them to put this tea in. This week for the LSS DT we were to create something that held food or a wrapping or covering for food. I thought I would do this! It's not my best work but I am going to do a few more!
I used Lindsay's Holiday Digi Paper here on top of Martha Stewart Paper. I used a punch and some gems, too!

Busy Bee

I created this card using a Digi Stamp from THIS SET and I must confess...I colored and shaded the image a long time ago. I did do the card portion this morning tho! That's the beauty of Digi Stamps - you can easily start projects and return to them later!

I guess that's why I was thinking BUSY BEE for this one. Since I have been running around like a crazy maniac I thought it was fitting! But also because a few of my friends have been into FALL CLEAN-UP since we live in an area where we have a lot of trees and the leaves are changing and falling.

Miss You

You can grab this FREEBIE HERE! It's a Mujka Chic Freebie and I just LOVE it. See what you can make with it! As for me...it's been a crazy few weeks! I was in Vegas for 5 days and really enjoyed it - I hope to get some pics up VERY SOON but I have been so SO so sick since I have been back! uggg. In addition to that we had a problem with our big freezer and lost a ton of food and then yesterday we had a leak in our bathroom and it went down into our kitchen and we have to replace a light fixture and a good part of the ceiling! To say the least - it's been a VERY trying week...

I haven't done a MISS YOU Card in a long time...so I figured this tree looked like a good one for that theme.

In other news I did get some new Prisma Color Colored Pencils and will start working with them soon. I also found a neat little Prisma Color Accessories Set with a Clear Blending Pencil in it so I am going to start tinkering with that as well!
