Subtle Gift Box

I know it's been a while since my last post and have been tinkering but it's mostly been just that.  Tinkering and such and not complete projects but I hope to start doing at least one craft a week again.

I thought I would start off by posting this Gift Box.  It's not very involved but I do like the way it turned out.  I used a punch-out box template and used decorative tape on the to and bottom...I do LOVE these patterned tapes!  Then I took a fanned embellie with a little gem in the middle and placed it in the center.

Viola!

Some of you have been asking me via email where I have been.  Well, I do post most days over at My Blissful Journey.  I would love for you to join me over there.  And we update at least 2 to 5 times a day over at Sororitea Sisters, too!

My First DT Project for Speedy The Cat/Mark's Finest Papers - BLING!

I'm so excited - today is my very first project post for Speedy ThLinke Cat/Mark's Finest Papers!!!

I'm using one of Mark's Finest Papers for the base of my card! There is a new neutral card stock/paper pack and I just LOVE it because it's earthy shades - and - well - I'm an earthy girl! I'm also using 2 of their Acrylic Stamps here! The Pumpkin/Flower/Bow/Crow and the sentiment! NOW...time for a little testimony, here!

I LOVE THESE STAMPS!

Seriously! These are the BEST Acrylic Stamps I have ever used!

Right out of the package - very first attempt - I got the perfect STAMP! With some of my Rubber Stamps and even some of my other gel-like backings - I tend to struggle with uneven stamp results! NOT with these stamps, folks! These are really Top-Notch! I LOVE THEM! I cannot say this enough! They are sturdy and stamp amazingly even with ease!

This week's project was:
Bring on the bling—pearls rhinestones etc suggested by Colleen!
As you can see I chose to use gems!

I already KNOW I am going to LOVE this team!!!! These products ROCK!

I've entered this project into the following challenges:

VLVS DT - Santa and the Mouse

Hello...Jennifer here, with TWO projects for you today! First...it's my first Christmas Card of the season...well, ALMOST Christmas Card. In this first project - shown above - you will see Santa snoozing under a cactus. He's NOT quite ready to make his list and check it twice! I wanted to see how many elements I could get into this one. I have metal embellies, velvet/sparkle ribbon, patterned paper, solid card stock, craft markers, metallic gel pens, ink, and a phrase sticker.

For my next project I decided to go 'dumpster diving'. Not literally. I used an old Library Book Card Holder for the back - made it into a funky envelop for any occasion. I also found an old starter tag that I have had in my stash for years. I added one of my Mousy VLVS to it and played around with my Ranger Inks. I added some swirl bling and sparkle flower and brad.

Enjoy your day!

SHOUT it out!

The weekend before last The Scrap Room had an online crop. This was one of the challenges. It was to use lettering that was at least 3 inches BIG. Here is what I came up with. We also had to use 3 pics and journal and use BLING.

It's not my most favorite page but I enjoyed doing it and I did a few things I normally wouldn't do. PLUS I got to use my EXPRESSIONS!
