Paper Cupcakes - Make A Scene

Starting the week off with my Paper Cupcakes DT Project! This week we were to MAKE A SCENE. I used THIS STAMP from Paper Cupcakes to make a Wall Hanging Scene. A scene for or with friends - a scene for tea time - a scene in itself, perhaps!

I also reused a cracker box for this project, too, which I will be doing more and more in the near future!

Friend Card

Here is a card I made for this week's LSS Design Team. I decided to revisit THIS SET. I haven't worked with it in a while. I also have been messing around with a different method of coloring with my pencils since my blender pens are bone dry at the moment. I have been shading and going over top with the white colored pencil I have. It seems to work ok for blending or - better yet - softening...the colors.

Friends Card

Here's another image from the Best Friends Set over at MyGrafico. Other members of the Design Team from the Scrapbooking/Crafting Friends site are working with this set and the feedback has been so great so far...many of them have commented that it is their favorite set yet!

Live * Laugh * Love *

I finally got to create a few items last evening. Here I incorporated 2 of MyGrafico's images from 2 different sets. The "friends" image is located HERE and the "Live Laugh Love" image is from this SET. I also used some old Creative Memories Paper, Card Stock, Gems, Gem Brad, and Martha Stewart Craft Markers.

Hybrid Attempt

Yes, I'm still uploading and posting stuff from LAST WEEK'S Online Crops! I can't even believe it! lol - Here is a Hybrid attempt. What we had to do is use a technique or do something we don't usually do. I don't do a lot of hybrid stuff but want to. So...here it is. This is my friend Sarah and I. The paper is Digi - printed out and another thing was to use more brads and cloth flowers on my pages so here it is. The challenge was actually called the anti-procrastination challenge. So I double-dutied it...I am working on an I AM ME Album where ever page starts out with or is themed with something about ME...

Here is an altered project I did. I'm not too into altered stuff yet only because I haven't really tried so here is an attempt.

And a few layouts! The TREE one was from a Scrabble type challenge
And this one we needed to do flowers as part of the paper design - in random placement

Welcome Friends and Family!

I've been thinking about a place like this for a long time. I've finally made the move and decided to do it but with a purpose. My Blissful Place will be a spot for me to keep in touch with my friends and family while posting about the things I love. Everything from Scrapbooking, Crafting, Photography...to things that are happening in and around my garden, kitchen, and home. You'll see some of the vegetarian and vegan dishes I try. PLUS you are sure to see pictures of my wonderful pets and favorite sports events and travels, I am sure! I'm going to try and keep this place as positive as possible so as hard as it may be for me NOT to vent about current events or politics - I will be keeping this zone drama-free.
