My First Close To My Heart Cards

Here are the cards I did on Tuesday Night. They are the first cards I've done with my new CTMH Consultant! I enjoyed the class and am looking forward to the next one where we will make a 2009 Calendar! I kinda like the way these turned out...if I do say so myself! :)

A Croppin' Good Time!

Well, the weekend full of crops has come and gone. I got A LOT done and will post many of the projects here...so visit often because it's going to get a little CRAZY here! lol

PLUS...I have a lot of other things I still have to do! There are several cards I am pondering and tomorrow I will be attending my 2nd Close To My Heart event...holiday cards!!! Stay Tuned!

Vegetarian Recipe Book

A few weeks ago I went to my very first CLOSE TO MY HEART outing. We made these neat Recipe Books. Of course mine HAD to be a Vegetarian one!!! So here are a few pictures of the book I made. There are a total of 6 photos on my facebook account or you can take a look at them here.

I'm very exciting about attending more CLOSE TO MY HEART events in the near future. I think Tuesday is my next one, actually! We will be make various cards! YAY!

Friends Card

Here is a card I made the other night. I must admit - I'm just getting into the wonderful world of stamps. I've had some for a while but never really used them much or have done much with them. I am going to blog hop and watch some YouTube Tutorials to learn more. Also I hope to go to a Close To My Heart Event on Thursday...my first one! Anyhow, this card I was trying out some new "Clear" Stamps and probably could have done better with the ink but I figured...why waste/trash the design...so I went with it.

Need to get Scrappin'

I really need to get scrappin'! It's been a while. This is a page I did a while back. The Layout was swiped from a Creative Memories Idea Sheet. This is a page I did for my Grandmother's Album. The picture is of my Dad with one of their Cats when she was a kitten...they are BOTH taking a "cat nap". The cat that is pictured is Berni. She was named after Bernie Williams the former New York Yankee. Her brother's name is Jeter named after Derek Jeter. (not pictured).

I have been looking up a few of the girls blogs from RSC and have really been enjoying all of their scrapbooking pages and other crafts and realizing how much I have been slacking. I am also looking forward to a few scrapbook gatherings. Hopefully I will be able to go to one tomorrow night (Creative Memories) and another one later in the month (Close To My Heart) and another friend of mine is hoping to start some gathering just for fun (and not associated with a company). I am hoping RSC will schedule another online crop soon (hint, hint = Jen!!!)
