How do you like this beautiful flower set from Sarah Paris
Its a perfect set for the boys in your family. But then again...I'm not much of a girlie-girl and I LOVE it!! 
Here is my project for this week. I have been wanting to use this ugly paper for a while...never had the occasion to until now...and now that I used it...I don't think the paper is as ugly as I once thought. I also tried something else new (for me, anyways)...I used colored pencils and a blending pen for shading...so far I really like this technique and will be practicing it more to see if I can get better at it.

Here's a card I did with THIS SET that Lindsay Created. I totally LOVE this set. This week's theme for the LSS DT was Stitching. Can I be honest with you!? I mean...down right blunt? I'm not into stitching. I mean, I LOVE the way it looks when other people do it but it's just not my thing. I usually ONLY stitch when it's asked of me and even when it is it's usually faux stitching. So...that is what I did here...faux stitching. I really don't mind the way the card turned out, to be honest, I think the only reason I don't prefer stitching in my cards and crafts is because I don't sew...or stitching anything in life...not even clothes. I'm not good at it so I just don't do it! LOL. Now...don't get me wrong...I enjoy the challenge...it makes me THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX. I have a punch with little squares that I used and then just looped the ribbon thru that way. 
This week the MyGrafico Design Team worked with the sketch I have above. 
The set we used was the Tea Party Stamps from Black Leaf!
This week Lindsay's DT Members THEME was NATURE. I LOVE NATURE and many of Lindsay's sets have to do with nature - so I ended up doing 4 projects this week. The one above is from the Birds & Branches Set. I actually printed it on colored paper and then used Martha Stewart Craft Markers over top of the roof of the bird house.
This image is from LSS's Doodle Flowers Set...another one of my favorites! I actually had this one colored prior to this project so I simply slapped it on a textured background sheet of paper...for a quick and easy card. I still might go over the texture with ink...haven't decided yet.
I also used the Birds & Branches Set for this one. At first I was going to trash this 'colored' image because of the particles the paper left behind from me coloring too aggressively...but I thought it looked kind of cool with the 'hay' and the texture it left on the eggs...so I decided to stick with it.
And I stuck with the Birds and Branches set for this one too! It seems I can't get enough of this set! I really, really like it!
And here is my TEA TIME Card using the Tea or Coffee Cup or Mug. As many of you know I am a TEA FREAK so I am always jazzed when I can use a Digi Stamp for a Tea Related Item!

And here is my take on the sketch! It's not my best work but the grungy star is growing on me...lol...
Since I don't have any wording on the front of this card - I am looking for something clever for the inside. Does anyone else remember those nasty little tubs of hard-as-rock watercolor paints we used as kids in elementary school? Fortunately for card makers, the world of watercolors has come a long way since then.
A friend of mine and her family have had a series of tragedies this summer. I made this card for her but also submitted it to Jen over at RSC (ReadySetCreate). The newest issue came out Tuesday night and this is one of the cards that made it! I used a Digi Stamp from MyGraficO and attempted to shade/blend with Martha Stewart Craft Markers.
And this was the card I made for him. I really like the way it turned out. He thought it was cool, too. When I first started making cards - it was few and far between - and now I am addicted to making them and give them to many people...it's neat tho because my mother has gotten to the point where she almost expects them and encourages it! I think she even keeps them stashed somewhere as well!
