Here is my project for this week for the LSS DT! I decided to use the Posh and Trendy set again today...I am totally off whack this week! I totally forgot it was Thursday! I had NO IDEA what to do for this week and I was going to do an ATC but then switched my mind to a tag...then to a card using what started out as a tag! LOL

Lindsay has a new set out! YAY! It's Posh and Trendy and can be found HERE. Now...I know this sounds silly but I rarely use parenthesis-type embellishments or stickers on my projects. Everyone else seems to make them work but when I try to use them they just seem so out of place. Well, today I stepped outside my comfort zone once again and gave them a whirl pairing them with one of the new Digi Stamps from the Posh & Trendy Set from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff.
This week Lindsay challenged her DT to find ways to package up Christmas/Holiday gifts. I fell in love with her Pretty Packaging Printable Templates that can be found HERE. She also has SVG Files for those who create with Cricut and SCAL and like programs!
Here's the back of one I did. I used Chipboard stickers and Stickles for texture and sparkle!
Here is one I stuffed with Loose Leaf Tea! I used Martha Stewart Two Sided Holiday Paper.
If you are anything like me I like to trick people! in the past I have switched boxes on people to make them think they are getting one thing and they end up getting something totally different! For example...maybe take an old cereal or noodle box and fill it with something they wouldn't expect in a million years! Now that I am into paper crafting - this is even more fun! I noticed that my XM Roadie would fit in this box perfectly - so that's just one more packaging idea I have for you today!

And these are awesome for smaller gifts as well! When I first started making these I was thinking Gift Card - but I haven't actually purchased my gift cards YET! Ooops! If you are using this template for gift cards you can also make it flat, too!

And lookie here!!! What is this!? A TAPE!? Who listens to tapes anymore!? Well, I have two ideas here! One being 80s party or Retro Themed Gifts...think MIX TAPE! The other being...my parents...when recordable tapes first came about my father was in the military and dating my mother (during Vietnam). My mother, her mom, and his parents used to sit around the kitchen table and play cards and TAPE themselves having daily conversations, having fun, and, well, drinking, and then send the tapes to my Dad overseas! I thought this was not only a great gift idea for soldiers or students away at college but also for my parents to put those old tape in and label them for keepsakes even 35+ years later!

I just used this one template for today's project BUT...there are many that come in this set! Check 'em out! They are awesome and easy!

This week the LSS DT was challenged with creating Quick and Easy Holiday Cards. Lindsay went one further and suggested they only take 10 minutes or less to make! I was up for the challenge! I created this one this morning before I left for work! It took me right around 6 minutes! I used a Digi Stamp from this set available on Lindsay's Blog from last year. The Brown paper under the Digi Stamp and Accents is one of her Digital Papers from this set. I've had people say "I would love to make my own cards but I don't have time"...not true! You can put as much or as little time in it as you want.
It's Thursday and that means it's time for the LSS DT Projects and here is mine! It's a fall and thankgiving product as well as a great job card! The Digi Stamp came from this set.

When life hands you lemons...make a card!
It's Thursday and that means it's LSS DT Day! Here is what I made this week for my LSS DT Project. I have been wanting to use this Digital Stamp for a while and FINALLY did! I also used some gems! I'm still messing around with my PrismaColor Colored Pencils and tried to work on my multi-color shading a little...still working on that tho! :)
