GLITTER - Clear It Out DT

GLITTER

Here's my project for the Clear It Out Design Team this time around! The challenge is to use GLITTER! What I had in my stash was glitter paper that I used a Martha Stewart Boarder Punch for on the side. I also had a 'stray' adhesive sticker boarder that I used on top. I added more glitter with Stickles! The Stickles are the Green "plumps" or 'Dots' on the boarder and on the center of each flower. I also used scraps from my stash for the orange strip on the side and the white between the two greens!

Challenge!

Use your stash and use glitter! Check out the challenge HERE! Have fun!

SketchMania #43

Here is this week's sketch over at SketchMania! Participate in the challenge HERE! And below is my take on the sketch. I have to say it was a tough one for me! I decided to do a journaling page this week. I started with heavy colored cardstock and covered it with patterned paper and scraps from my scrap pile. There are 2 brads in there, too! I then covered the whole thing with Gesso. From there I colored, painted, and highlighted, and glued or stickled various sections. I added a few extras on top of that and then inked the edges of the torn paper because the Gesso naturally made that paper more 3-D than the others.

Something very different for me this week but it was FUN.

I challenge YOU to challenge YOURSELF this week, too!

Raindrops

This week over at DWA! we were to create something with THIS STAMP and we were to create raindrops as well! We could do whatever we wanted for the Raindrops! I must say it was a little challenging for me so I went ahead and used stickles and free-handed it! Below is a closer look at the stickles from a 3-D type angle.

Be sure to swing by and check out the DT's Projects this week:

Apparently I have a new found LOVE for these lil stars that are a part of a digi stamp from THIS SET that Lindsay created! I have found myself using them over and over again for just about anything. I cut them out and covered them in Stickles here in this ATC.

It's been a while since I did an ATC. I might get back into them again!

A Few Holiday Cards

Sorry I haven't posted these sooner. It's been a busy, busy week! I actually have LOTS to post so please visit often. Here are 5 cards I have been working on lately.
Most of them are very Quick and Easy...like this one. I only used 2 pieces of paper.
This one I used a Digi Stamp and Martha Stewart Craft Markers and blended. I also used Stickles on the beard. I am just getting into Stickles actually.
Some more stickles used on this one. A Gem, too.
I am fairly tickled with this one...don't rally know why just looks clean and festive! LOL

Stay tuned more cards on the way!
