Loose Leaf Tea Gift Box

Many of you know I LOVE tea! So much so that I drink between 8 and 15 cups a day! YES...you read that right! Between 8 and 15! I also write about tea - I write reviews! Check out the SororiTEA Sisters Website - sometimes we give stuff away too - so visit often! So...because I have so much tea in my posession I decided to give some away to family and friends this holiday season, too! Over the past summer I found a huge bulk of funky gift boxes that I bought for super cheap! I decided to decorate a few of them to put this tea in. This week for the LSS DT we were to create something that held food or a wrapping or covering for food. I thought I would do this! It's not my best work but I am going to do a few more!
I used Lindsay's Holiday Digi Paper here on top of Martha Stewart Paper. I used a punch and some gems, too!

Quick & Easy Holiday Cards - LSS DT

This week the LSS DT was challenged with creating Quick and Easy Holiday Cards. Lindsay went one further and suggested they only take 10 minutes or less to make! I was up for the challenge! I created this one this morning before I left for work! It took me right around 6 minutes! I used a Digi Stamp from this set available on Lindsay's Blog from last year. The Brown paper under the Digi Stamp and Accents is one of her Digital Papers from this set. I've had people say "I would love to make my own cards but I don't have time"...not true! You can put as much or as little time in it as you want.

This week for the MyG DT Project I stepped outside my comfort zone a little and came up with this Digital Label which I will be using to display one of my Signature Tea Blends over at Adagio Teas. I used Digital Paper that can be found HERE. I love the colors! If you are interested in checking out the actual tea blend GO HERE. Here are a few pics of my project that I did and which items actually POPPED up!

The 3-D items I used were a YOU ROCK Sticker where the stars were raised as well as an old patch of a flower I had that I used cardboard to make it 3-D and a #-D Star Sticker...

And here is the finished project! I did use both sets! I used the one paper that is under the Digi Stamp and the Digi Stamp pictured here!

At Play All Day

I have been finding projects around the house that I haven't posted...mostly because I submitted them to RSC - Ready Set Create - and wanted to wait until after the issue came out. Here is another one I did for the last issue. I used Digital Papers!

Lindsay sure did challenge me this week!

On the LSS DT this week our challenge was to do "creative packaging". I must admit this is NOT my strong point. BUT...I really did try. Here is what I came up with...
I used a template I found online but I liked the dotted line where it told me to fold so I kept that visible. It just looked like it fit in with the font/handwriting on the sticker I added. The Digi Paper is from LSS. It can be found HERE and you can get it for FREE at MyGraficO.
I actually started off with this project but I wasn't sure if it would fit for actual packaging since the only thing I used was an image on the tag from LSS and that is part of this set
