Live Laugh Love Card

This week for the Viva Las Vegastamps DT I did another card - but I will say this - I have been seeing a common denominator here lately with my card layouts unless I'm following a sketch. So today I really went way out in left field with this crazy card chaos!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I LOVE ASIAN THEMED CRAFTY PRODUCTS!!! So when I saw the Live Laugh Love 1 1/4 X 2 rubber stamp that VLVS had I HAD to get it!

For the layout here I took patterned paper with Asian Symbols for my bottom layer. I then took an Asian Floral Printed Paper for my next layer and did a quick and easy mosaic with the cuts I made. After that I used my large punch with some adhesive paper and slapped it on for the next layer. I stamped (more on this in the next paragraph) the rubber stamp on some card stock and laid it down next. After that I added stickles around the edge and 3 large 3-D stickers on top along with some gems. I know it's a little busy but "mission accomplished" for me thinking outside of my comfort zone on the layout of the card!

Now...a side note about the stamped image...

I actually used a clear ink pigment pad to stamp the image and sprinkled some "pearls" powder over top and took a soft print brush to it to gently brush away the loose powder. It worked like a charm! The powder stuck quite nicely to the pigment!

March's Recipe Challenge over at Challenge Masters and a Repost from last month

Here is the recipe for March's Challenge over at Challenge Masters...after March I will be stepping away as a DT Member for Challenge Masters but will still be participating in the site.

Colors = Green, Black, and Gold (Must use at least these 3 colors in your project)
Use a 3-D item
Sparkle or Bling
recycled item
journaling

Rules to earn a draw:

*Each submission must be a newly created paper project specifically for the challenge.

*Only one entry per category.

*Challenges may be combined, but each submission is one entry no matter how many challenges are combined.

*Each submission must be uploaded to our gallery no later than 11:59PM ET on the last day of the month to be eligible for the random draw. That would be Sunday, February 28th, 11:59pm Eastern time.

*Each submission uploaded to the gallery must include, in the title line, the group name & the month/year {For example: RECIPE 3/10} to be eligible for the random draw. Don't worry about getting it in the group's album...magical elves behind the scenes moves them each day...that is why there is a title requirement. USE ***insert group name here*** 3/10

*Each submission must follow ALL requirements of the challenge to be eligible for the random draw. For example, if the challenge states blue must be used then there must be some blue in the project to qualify.

Now...more of a back post because I really don't know what happened to last month's entry I have decided to include February's Projects in this post as well...please don't let these confused you as to the separate challenge for this month...I'm reposting these more as a archive for myself since I lost them or blogger ate my old post last month! LOL

Live * Laugh * Love *

I finally got to create a few items last evening. Here I incorporated 2 of MyGrafico's images from 2 different sets. The "friends" image is located HERE and the "Live Laugh Love" image is from this SET. I also used some old Creative Memories Paper, Card Stock, Gems, Gem Brad, and Martha Stewart Craft Markers.
