Here is a card I made for this week's LSS Design Team. I decided to revisit THIS SET. I haven't worked with it in a while. I also have been messing around with a different method of coloring with my pencils since my blender pens are bone dry at the moment. I have been shading and going over top with the white colored pencil I have. It seems to work ok for blending or - better yet - softening...the colors.I Currently Design For:

#51 - School Rules - a Sketch
Sorry I am a little late with my post today...it's been a crazy week and a half but I am back!
For today's challenge we have a sketch challenge! AND REMEMBER...the MyGrafico Challenge Blog have MOVED over to the NING Network! That's located HERE.
If you are new to our challenges, all you have to do is make a project using the below sketch, it can be flipped but as long as it has more or less the same format of the sketch.

Congrats Grads!
This week the LSS DT Members had an OPEN THEME but a few of us worked on Graduation Cards and Projects as well. I was looking at my Card stash and realized I didn't have any Congrats Grads cards so I thought I would whip one up this morning! Here is what I came up with. I used the Digi Stamp from this set. AWESOME SET! I also had the chance to use up some paper that I have had for AGES.I would like to wish all the 2010 Graduates a CONGRATS and BEST OF LUCK in your future endeavors! Enjoy your Graduation Celebrations but PLEASE be careful!!!
I would also like to mention that Last month I FINALLY paid off my student loan! WOOT! It seems MINE went 2+ years longer than everyone else who graduated the same year I did - it could have been because I went to CC which was also out of state...oye...ANYHOW...I'm stoked that I no longer have to pay for that!!! YAY!

LSS DT - Nature
This week Lindsay's DT Members THEME was NATURE. I LOVE NATURE and many of Lindsay's sets have to do with nature - so I ended up doing 4 projects this week. The one above is from the Birds & Branches Set. I actually printed it on colored paper and then used Martha Stewart Craft Markers over top of the roof of the bird house.
This image is from LSS's Doodle Flowers Set...another one of my favorites! I actually had this one colored prior to this project so I simply slapped it on a textured background sheet of paper...for a quick and easy card. I still might go over the texture with ink...haven't decided yet.
I also used the Birds & Branches Set for this one. At first I was going to trash this 'colored' image because of the particles the paper left behind from me coloring too aggressively...but I thought it looked kind of cool with the 'hay' and the texture it left on the eggs...so I decided to stick with it.
And I stuck with the Birds and Branches set for this one too! It seems I can't get enough of this set! I really, really like it!I hope you liked my projects for this week...more coming soon!

Cute As A Button!
Honestly...where did this day go!? It seemed many things didn't go my way today but it's ending on a higher note! For one Blogger is FINALLY working for me! I'm sorry I am posting this so late...computers...can't live with them...can't live without them, eh!? This week the THEME for the LSS DT was Buttons and/or Bows! I decided to use one of my favorite sets from LSS - Lindsay's Stamp Stuff...
I used the button from this set. You can see it in the project below. I wanted to do something small and something other an a card. A while back a scrappin' friend of mine sent me these nifty little Library Cards and Holders. I decked one out...
And featured all 5 of my furkids! Sammy, Suzie, Riley, Charlie, and Gabby! This was FUN!!! I think I might use it in a LO someday but it's cute just to have around the house for the time being...

Spring Is In The Air...I WISH!
It's been a COLD, COLD Winter. Since I live in the snowbelt...the amount of snow isn't surprising...but it doesn't make me like it more. I can't wait for Spring (and Summer)...I am certainly a FAIR WEATHER Girl! This week the LSS Team's theme was SPRING and I made 2 cards using this set...I Simply LOVE this set and will be using it often!

Here are the 2 cards I made using this set. I do have plans to use them again if not this week SOON.

FUNKY Forest OR FUNKY Town!?

This week the LSS DT could create ANYTHING using LSS's Digital Stamps so I decided to take an image from Lindsay's FUNKY FOREST Set. I think I will be using this set a lot! I think it's great. I decided to use the one on the lower left hand corner. I did a card and will be sending it to a friend within the next month!
I'm trying to use my scrap bin because it is getting a little out of hand! Here is a quick card I made this morning!

Lindsay sure did challenge me this week!
On the LSS DT this week our challenge was to do "creative packaging". I must admit this is NOT my strong point. BUT...I really did try. Here is what I came up with...
I used a template I found online but I liked the dotted line where it told me to fold so I kept that visible. It just looked like it fit in with the font/handwriting on the sticker I added. The Digi Paper is from LSS. It can be found HERE and you can get it for FREE at MyGraficO.
I actually started off with this project but I wasn't sure if it would fit for actual packaging since the only thing I used was an image on the tag from LSS and that is part of this set
AND...
Lindsay's Stamp Stuff is having a sale!! Buy 2 sets get one set free! Order your 2 sets and when you checkout type the set you want for free in the customer comment box. The 2 purchased sets and the free set must all be from the Lindsay's Stamp Stuff at MyGraficO.
