Cute As A Button!

Honestly...where did this day go!? It seemed many things didn't go my way today but it's ending on a higher note! For one Blogger is FINALLY working for me! I'm sorry I am posting this so late...computers...can't live with them...can't live without them, eh!? This week the THEME for the LSS DT was Buttons and/or Bows! I decided to use one of my favorite sets from LSS - Lindsay's Stamp Stuff...
I used the button from this set. You can see it in the project below. I wanted to do something small and something other an a card. A while back a scrappin' friend of mine sent me these nifty little Library Cards and Holders. I decked one out...
And featured all 5 of my furkids! Sammy, Suzie, Riley, Charlie, and Gabby! This was FUN!!! I think I might use it in a LO someday but it's cute just to have around the house for the time being...

Monkey See Monkey DO

Or in this case...Cat see...Cat Do. This is Gabby and Charlie. Charlie was our first "kid". He's pretty feral but we love him. Gabby is a gentle soul. They are like day and night...but they are BUDS. In our bathroom is an old chair we put stuff on including towels, etc. Well, about a year ago Gabby decided to make it her thrown. She LOVES it up there. Now...Charlie is all about the towel stacked chair. Just about every time you go in there ONE of them is sitting on top. Apparently they BOTH wanted access the other night and before I called it quits and turned in...I found this adorable sight! Aren't they cute? Gabby is a tiny girl...only about 7 pounds but she looks BIG in this picture. Charlie is a very long cat...about 15 or 17 pounds or so...and here they look the same size! Charlie is snuggled in pretty good tho. Just HAD to share! I love my kids!

Gabby & Mommy Scrapbooking

I realized tonight...that it's time to SCRAP my SCRAPS! I had a lot of these bins started but after cleaning my 6 foot table off I realized...the time is NOW.
I ended up adding more and more SCRAPS to my bins and have decided to really concentrate on using my scraps in the next month or so. I will be looking for project ideas online as well as making more cards.
After cleaning my table off and once again starting to scrap...I turned around to find Momma has a helper! One of our cats Gabby APPROVED of the recently cleared surface.
Here she is helping me pick paper as she looks down at her brothers and sisters below. (Charlie, Sammy, Suzie, and Riley)
Althought Gabby doesn't look very happy here she really DOES like to scrapbook...then again...who doesn't!? HAHAHA!

Gabby Girl

Last month you may have seen the post of Sammy wearing his shades, well, tonight I wanted to feature another one of my furbabies...her name is Gabby. She's the sweetest girl you could ever meet. She's about 5 now. She's 1 of 5 furbabies we have. 2 out of the 5 are cats, the other 3 are dogs. 4 out of the 5 were adopted straight from the shelter. The other was a "rescue"...technically a "free kittens to a good home ad" but when we got there there were over 25 animals living in the kitchen of this home that didn't have a front door, let alone enough to feed and cloth their 8 kids (and 25+ animals!) Anyhow, Gabby, was found under a ferry by one of the shelter workers that brought her in. I was doing some volunteering at the time and she was a peach. She was so unique we decided to bring her home and she's been part of our family even since. In the next weeks - I am sure you will see more pictures of our furbabies!
