MyG #30 & Blog Hop

It looks like I am bringing up the rear due to all my issues this past week...thanks again for the MyG DT for being so patient! They really are an awesome group of ladies!

I am switching from the Monday Team to the Wednesday Team starting this week for the MyG DT! This means I will be attempting to follow a sketch each week and posting those projects on Wednesdays from now on!

Here is my first Wednesday Project!Since I don't have any wording on the front of this card - I am looking for something clever for the inside. So...I will be sending RAK to 1 lucky winner who comes up with a clever saying for this card! Please comment with your phrase. Since this is something I am doing aside or in addition to the DT...DT Members are also allowed to jump in for the phrase RAK!

Paper Arts Mingles & Challenges is a group for mingles with items such as ATC's, gothic arches, altered art, mixed media & more. We also have a weekly challenge every Thursday.

About the Group:
Paper Arts Mingles & Challenges is just that! We will have mingles and swaps for all kinds of items. Such as ATC's, Gothic Arches, Inchies/Twinchies, Skinnies, Altered items, Journals, Rubber Stamps, Greeting Cards, craft supplies & Tonsss More. If it has to do with Paper & Art, Im sure we will exchange it :) Each Thursday we will have a new Challenge hosted by one of our Design Team Members. Each Design Team member will create examples for the challenge to help inspire you. Create your item according to the challenge and upload a picture to your gallery or blog to share OR visit our blog and leave a comment with a link to your creation. Each Wednesday the host will use Random.org and choose the winner for the week from the gallery. The winner will be featured for the week on this site and also the blog AND be entered into the monthly drawing for a special Prize donated by one of our sponsors. So lets get those thinking caps on and lets start creating! HAVE FUN!
Challenge Rules:
1. Your items MUST go along w/ our Challenge.
2. You can enter as many different items into the Challenge as you would like. Each item = a chance in the drawing.
3. All items entered MUST be newly created.
4. The Random # picker is what we use to choose our weekly winners. It is very possible for the same person to win more than once. To add to your chances enter more than one item each week. Or try and participate each week. The more the merrier. :)
5. A poll will be created at the end of each month with all of the entries in our drawing. Everyone can vote on their favorite entry and the majority vote will decide the winner of our prize :)

FORUM FRIDAY: The ScrapRoom

I'm going to start a new segment (if you will) on my blog called FORUM FRIDAY. Every Friday I will feature a different forum, message board, or online community having to do with Scrapbooking/Stamping/Crafting. If you would like your site featured here - please leave me a comment.

This week's FORUM FRIDAY FEATURE is The ScrapRoom. I really like this place...they have a HUGE community with several nooks and crannies to explore. There are lots of members and they are VERY ACTIVE. It's highly monitored by a group of volunteers (members) - which is a GREAT Thing because it shows me they value their members and want to keep it spam free in the forums! There are several FUN things to do throughout the site including SWAPS, Challenges, RAK's, SSS, Crops, and more! You'll have to check it out and see for yourself to understand it!
