GLITTER - Clear It Out DT

GLITTER

Here's my project for the Clear It Out Design Team this time around! The challenge is to use GLITTER! What I had in my stash was glitter paper that I used a Martha Stewart Boarder Punch for on the side. I also had a 'stray' adhesive sticker boarder that I used on top. I added more glitter with Stickles! The Stickles are the Green "plumps" or 'Dots' on the boarder and on the center of each flower. I also used scraps from my stash for the orange strip on the side and the white between the two greens!

Weekend Creations

This weekend I had some time to craft and semi-clean my craft room! YAY! Here is one project I did based on the sketch over at Beary Scrap - I'm really trying to use my let-over scrap pile but keep finding myself adding MORE to that pile! LOL

I've had this image colored for EVER and wanted to finally complete a project with it...so I went over to the Incy Wincy Designs Challenge Blog and they are having a ANYTHING GOES Challenge so I decided to enter it into that challenge!

MyG #41 - Fairy Tales

Yet another challenge for me...and you are going to laugh because it's really so simple and so easy! I don't do much with circles! Unless, of course I have pre-determined circles like die cuts or stickers already done. I guess I am just lazy...I'll admit it. For me to cut circles...I often pass it up! LOL Regardless this was today's sketch for the MyGrafico DT. I came up with this result...
I'm trying to use some of my scraps and old paper and I succeeded with this project! I actually ended up having a very productive evening last night. Not only did I craft but I got a few projects done around the house!

#39 - Springy Set & a Sketch

Here is the sketch for the MyG DT for this week. Eventhough it looks easy enough on paper I knew it was going to be challenge...it's a little out of my realm - first because of the lines above the image. I thought I would try and do something a little different with it so I flopped it sideways and worked with it that way and used my image from the set 3X in the corner instead of the center.

Here is a picture of the entire set! Pretty awesome set ifyou ask me!!!! Below is my project for this time around...

HEY!!! Check out this set from BlackLeaf on MyGrafico. Isn't it COOL!? All I can think of is the Pirates of the Caribbean Movies!!!! LOVE those movies! And below is this week's sketch that the DT had to work with!
And here is my project based on this week's set and sketch! I was pretty excited to use this textured paper in a project as well! Recently I found a whole stash and didn't know what to do with it! Mission Accomplished!!

The best part about Digital Stamps is that they are so diverse and you can do so much with them. This week the MyG DT was given this set to work with...

And here is my BEAUTY Card using the Thermos. It's pretty darned girlie of me to even attempt this - as I am not a fan of the color pink - but I am pretty excited with the way it turned out.And here is my TEA TIME Card using the Tea or Coffee Cup or Mug. As many of you know I am a TEA FREAK so I am always jazzed when I can use a Digi Stamp for a Tea Related Item!

LSS - Recycled Item & Challenge!

WOW! Last week was CRAZY! Lots of strange occurrences but those are hopefully in the past and I am ready and rearin' to go...errrr something...

Anyhow...I'm 3 days late posting my LSS DT Project but Lindsay and the rest of the girls were nice enough to let me join today's group of DT posters!

Lindsay, of Lindsay's Stamp Stuff, is running a challenge on the What's Digital Stamping yahoo group and asked the DT to join in. The challenge is to make a project using a digital image (stamp, coloring page or ding bat font) and at least one recycled item. All entries before January 7th will be entered in a drawing for a stamp of your choice from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff shop. If you are new to digital stamping and are looking for some free images, take a look at Lindsay's blog or on MyGrafico, there are plenty of freebies on both.

So...here are my projects for this...

This one is a Tea Bag Holder. I did have a picture of the inside but forgot to upload - sorry! The little pinkish-purple-red thing sticking out of it is a Yogi Tea Bag. You can purchase this set HERE. And it's available from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff on MyGrafico! The recycled item I used was the cream colored text/handwritten paper in the background. I reused the backing of a Scrapbooking embellishment package. Here is a look at the back of it while it's open. Since I drink a lot of tea and swap a lot of tea I will be making TONS of these! They are super easy to make and are very versatile!

Using the same template I found online but nothing recycled on it...I made this SEED HOLDER, too...it's made with an image from the same set from LSS!

Garlic Hummus Recipe & Recipe Card

Here is the Hummus Recipe I promised yesterday - using the Blender image From the Digi Set mentioned in my last post. You can also find this and other great Digi Stamps over at MyGraficO.com. Hummus is one of my favorite things to make because it's yummy, easy, cheap, and there are literally thousands of different variations/recipes to try. For vegetarians it's wonderful because of all the fiber, vitamins, nutrients, and flavor! So...here's a recipe and another example of how I used my Digi Stamp from the set this week!

Challenge #21 - MyGraficO - Retro Appliances

I'm the first to say that I am NOT very domestic but I DO LOVE these Digital Stamps available on MyGraficO.com's website by Zenware Designs.

Here was the DT Member's Challenge this week:
colors red, white and turquoise and use some sort of polka dots.

Well, here is what I came up with
I do LOVE my Blender that is for sure. AND I do LOVE Hummus! I'm going to start a scrapbooking album with my favorite Blender recipes and this is my title page! Come back tomorrow for a Hummus Recipe and Recipe Card using this same Digi Stamp!

Autumn Projects for MyG

For some strange reason I very rarely will start an album with a photo on the front page. I don't really know why but I have always liked to do like a "title page" or a "fun page" so this is what I was thinking for this one...

A Few Projects

Here is a page I Did for a 2's Challenge over at Scrapbooking and Crafting Friends. Denise posted it and it was part of our Tremendous Tuesday's Group. This week was TWO's - we could only put 2 of each item on the page. I think I was successful...2 of each...photos, photo mats, pieces of paper, flowers, gem brads, gem stars, adhesive phrases, ribbon, buttons, and 2 diff inks on the yellow paper.
Another group we have on the network is Cuttlebug Users and Nicole posted the first challenge - it was to use 1 Embossing Folder you use the least. I hate paisley and if I used that one I would be amazed...I don't think I did and the 2nd one I like just haven't used yet...so I did two!
