This week for the DWA! DT - I seemed to have been stuck between a rock and a hard place...the hard place being the sketch! I fully admit I had a hard time with this sketch but here is what I came up with!
I have used the Rockband Tween before but really like the digi stamp and wanted to use it again for this challenge!

I added flowers in the middle was really the only thing I strayed from the original sketch!

This weekend I had some time to craft and semi-clean my craft room! YAY! Here is one project I did based on the sketch over at Beary Scrap - I'm really trying to use my let-over scrap pile but keep finding myself adding MORE to that pile! LOL

One of the main reasons I decided to start doing challenges again is because I am overwhelmed with paper scraps and thought this would be a great way to get rid of some of them!!! Most of these challenge blogs over the past week I have been to and submitted projects to - I am a first time submitter. The 2S4U Site I used to submit to a year ago or so and I am glad to be back participating! Happy Crafting Everyone!

Sorry I am a little late with my post today...it's been a crazy week and a half but I am back!

#40 - I Tip My Hat To You

Here is the sketch we had to work with this week over at the MyGrafico Design Team. I'm getting to where I really like working with sketches! I wasn't too sure at first! But I have acquired a liking for them! PLUS Mary Vogel does such a great job!!!
This is the set we worked with this time around...I really, really like it! I had a had time choosing which image to work with. I decided to go with the HAT. Here is my card based on the sketch using the image I chose...
Where I live there are LOTS Of Red Hat Ladies and I thought of that when I made this card! I even reached another goal of mine...using some of the scraps in my scrap bin!!

#37 - Ahoy!

HEY!!! Check out this set from BlackLeaf on MyGrafico. Isn't it COOL!? All I can think of is the Pirates of the Caribbean Movies!!!! LOVE those movies! And below is this week's sketch that the DT had to work with!
And here is my project based on this week's set and sketch! I was pretty excited to use this textured paper in a project as well! Recently I found a whole stash and didn't know what to do with it! Mission Accomplished!!
