Mujka over at MyGrafico created THIS DIGI STAMP and the MyG DT worked with it this week and here is a card I made with this neat Digi Stamp! I've been diggin' borders lately. I used one here and also got some new bling flowers that I am LOVING too!

Viva Las Vegastamps! & Nature Card

Awhile back I applied for a spot on the Viva Las Vegastamps! Design Team and I MADE IT!!! I'm VERY excited! Today is my FIRST Post and Project! :)

I made this card with one of the rubber stamps I got from Viva Las Vegastamps! and it can be found at their shop located at Stampo.com!

I have been in a Nature-y type mood lately and thought this would look good with blue but you can use it with a bunch of different colors of course! My first VLVS DT Project was a card I have lots in store with their stamps so please check back!!!

LSS DT - Nature

This week Lindsay's DT Members THEME was NATURE. I LOVE NATURE and many of Lindsay's sets have to do with nature - so I ended up doing 4 projects this week. The one above is from the Birds & Branches Set. I actually printed it on colored paper and then used Martha Stewart Craft Markers over top of the roof of the bird house.
This image is from LSS's Doodle Flowers Set...another one of my favorites! I actually had this one colored prior to this project so I simply slapped it on a textured background sheet of paper...for a quick and easy card. I still might go over the texture with ink...haven't decided yet.
I also used the Birds & Branches Set for this one. At first I was going to trash this 'colored' image because of the particles the paper left behind from me coloring too aggressively...but I thought it looked kind of cool with the 'hay' and the texture it left on the eggs...so I decided to stick with it.
And I stuck with the Birds and Branches set for this one too! It seems I can't get enough of this set! I really, really like it!

I hope you liked my projects for this week...more coming soon!

Ugly Duckling?

One of the challenges we had this weekend was to take paper you find ugly and do something...anything...with it. Here is one of my many ugly pieces of paper! I like the colors but it was too busy and I didn't think it went with much...but then I found these pics...and it reminded me of a "map" of a wooded area and thought it was fitting! So...see...even the weird, ugly, and scary type papers can be used for something!

Simple but true

These aren't the most involved pages I have ever done but here are 5 out of the 6 mini album pages I did for the RSC Crop over the weekend. We had to title it A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS. Sorry the pictures are NOT the best for this post...ek!
Charlie, Gabby, Riley, Sammy, and Suzie
Animals and Nature are just a few of my favorite things!
And all sorts of music!
C'mon! Show the 80's movies some LOVE! lol

Big HUGE post - more projects from last weekend!

Here is an altered project I did. I'm not too into altered stuff yet only because I haven't really tried so here is an attempt.
Then we have some cards
And a few layouts! The TREE one was from a Scrabble type challenge
And this one we needed to do flowers as part of the paper design - in random placement
Actually, I still have more to post but it would only let me upload these for now...stay tuned for some more!

WW: Take A Look

Outlook

A few weekends ago while Dale was playing at a festival I decided to ask my parents to go for a hike. Here is one of the photos I took. I will be posting more soon. It's at Rim Rock near the Kinzua Dam - part of the Allegheny National Forest. I know it's been a week since my last post and I apologize. I certainly want to be a more consistent blogger and will be - even if it's just a photo.

Today I will be going to an arts and crafts show called Wild Wind so I am charging my batteries now and will be leaving in a few hours.
